After some deliberation, and grumbling at Digidesign for being money grabbing corporate bastards, we’ve finally bit the bullet and upgraded our mix plus to a Pro Tools HD2 Accel, and we must say it’s been great so far. The new V7 software is fantastic and the system is super powerful and stable with mixing in the box finally sounding good! We’ve also set it up to handle 96khz, and 5.1 surround.
